Markas has been drawing his whole life - since the 2nd grade. Throughout his younger years as an artist, Markas was involved in a number of mediums such as animation, comics, character design and illustrations. Once he reached high school, his love of art and animation helped inspire his decision to attend art school to study illustration. After high school Markas attended the American Academy of Art in Chicago, IL where he earned a bachelor's in illustration. After graduating he found caricature art and has been doing it ever since. His love of caricature grew more and more once he got his first job at Navy Pier Chicago. He plans to keep going and travel the world doing his caricatures and meeting new and exciting people. Markas is available for studio illustrations worldwide, and for live traditional and digital caricatures in Vancouver and Seattle.

Custom Studio Caricatures From Photos or Live Subject

We start from your photos and theme. A pencil draft is produced which you critique and comment on. Upon receiving your changes we redraw the image according to your feedback. You critique the new draft and approve or request new changes. We repeat these steps in two rounds of changes. Additional changes after the two rounds are billed on an hourly basis. Once you are happy with the rough draft we produce the complete artwork in ink and paint using quality paints and permanent inks. The artwork is produced on acid free cotton base museum quality art boards. Voila. Your first experience as an art director was a success!

Live Digital Caricatures at Parties, Trade Shows, Weddings and Corporate Functions
